Families will dance the night away to rock and pop classics when three of Adelaide’s top bands hit the stage at Marion’s first community music festival on 24 November.
Concert-goers can improve their singing skills with a star from The Voice, learn rock ‘n’ roll dance and try musical instruments.
Free entertainment for kids includes The Amazing Drumming Monkeys and craft sessions, including designing album covers, decorating wristbands and mics, and making a music shaker.
Concert at the Cove is a twilight event and will be held at Heron Way Reserve, Hallett Cove from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday, 24 November. Entry is free.
Fork on the Road food trucks will sell cuisine from around the world.
Popular vendors will sell street food inspired by dishes from countries as diverse as South Africa, Spain, Argentina, India and Greece. People can bring a picnic, relax on the grass and enjoy spectacular views of the coast.

Prizes – $100 JB Hi Fi vouchers up for grabs in the air guitar competition and for gig-goers dressed as their favourite rock star.
Come and try musical instruments, including ukulele and tinkle the ivories on the piano while enjoying spectacular coastal views.
GETTING THERE AND PARKING
Concert at the Cove will be held at Heron Way Reserve, Heron Way, Hallett Cove.
As there is limited on street car parking, please consider using public transport, car pooling, walking or using the designated
drop off areas shown on the map.
If you do park in the area, please observe traffic regulations and don’t block driveways.
Park and walk – Park your car along The Cove Road and follow signs to Heron Way Reserve.
Train – Get off at the Hallett Cove Beach stop and follow the signs to Heron Way Reserve.
Bus – Catch the 683 and get off at Stop 58 on Dutchman Drive and walk down the hill to Heron Way Reserve.
Ride your bike and chain it to a bike rack at the reserve.
Community Bus – shuttle service, cnr Cove Rd and Gretel Crescent to event.
